My goal is to photograph you in a way that feels both timeless and empowering — highlighting your natural beauty, your growing bump, and the incredible bond already forming between you and your baby. From elegant, classic poses to soft, emotional moments, every detail is styled with care so you feel confident, radiant, and celebrated.
Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round, but you’re still feeling comfortable. If you’re outside this window, please reach out — I’m always happy to chat and see what we can make work.

This window is perfect for capturing your glow while you’re still feeling comfortable and confident. And don’t worry — babies grow on their own timelines! We can always adjust your session date to fit you and your beautiful bump. 💛
What should I wear?
Think comfy, confident, and a little magical ✨ The best outfits are the ones that make you feel like the absolute best version of yourself — because when you feel beautiful, it shows in every photo.
I love highlighting that gorgeous baby bump, so outfits that gently hug and celebrate your shape photograph beautifully. Flowy dresses, fitted gowns, and soft fabrics are always a win. Try to skip simple tank tops on their own, but if you love one, bring along a cozy cardigan or long jacket for easy layering and extra movement.
Solid colors tend to shine the most on camera, and the best color? The one that feels the most you. We’ll also send over curated inspiration boards to spark ideas, calm any outfit jitters, and get you totally excited for your session 💛
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, we're open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.
Why invest in professional hair and make-up?
Professional hair and makeup truly elevate maternity photos — and more importantly, they give you one less thing to think about. This season of life is beautiful, exciting, and yes… a little overwhelming. Letting a pro handle the glam is such a lovely way to slow down, feel pampered, and simply show up ready to be celebrated ✨ I have a couple of girls who would be happy to help you.
If professional hair and makeup aren’t in the budget, no worries at all. Stores like Sephora and Ulta offer great in-store options that can help you feel polished and confident. And if you’re doing your own makeup, think date-night glam — a little more definition than everyday, still soft, timeless, and totally you.
However you choose to prep, the goal is the same: feeling relaxed, radiant, and absolutely glowing 💛
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We know how exciting it is to see your final images! Our editing process typically takes 2–3 weeks, depending on the number of images and the level of detail each one requires. We take great care in thoughtfully editing every photo, focusing on quality and artistry so your finished images are truly beautiful and worth the wait.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate on the day of your outdoor session, we’ll work together to find the best solution. This may include rescheduling or moving to an indoor location to ensure the highest-quality images possible. We’re always flexible and happy to adapt to unexpected circumstances so your session still feels relaxed and beautiful. If a studio location is chosen, a studio rental fee will be invoiced accordingly.

Can we bring props or special items?
Personal Touches
Absolutely! Meaningful details like a favorite toy, Grandma’s quilt, or other sentimental items add heart, personality, and story to your images. Family heirlooms, letter boards, and seasonal props are always welcome, too. Just give us a heads-up so we can plan for them thoughtfully and make everything shine.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes—pets are family, too! We’re happy to include well-behaved furry friends in your session whenever possible. Please let us know in advance so we can plan for timing, location, and any extra considerations to keep things relaxed and fun for everyone. ✨
Where Are outdoor Sessions Held?
As a Houston family photographer, we love photographing outdoor sessions at some of the most stunning locations around the city. From peaceful parks to scenic natural spaces and coastal views, we know all the best spots for gorgeous light and timeless portraits. We’ll help choose the perfect location based on the season, lighting, and your family’s style. Some favorite Houston-area locations include the Houston Arboretum, Jesse H. Jones Park, Christia V. Adair Park, Eastern Glades, and several beautiful Galveston beach locations—each offering its own unique charm and backdrop.💛
Can I rent a studio for our session?
Umm, YES—100%! I always highly recommend a studio rental, especially during the summer months when Texas heat can be downright unforgiving. A studio session is the perfect alternative, giving us beautiful, consistent lighting, a comfortable environment, and plenty of room to capture genuine moments without melting in the process. It’s a guaranteed good time with gorgeous results!
Weekend studio availability fills up quickly, so I strongly recommend booking in advance. Studio rental pricing varies by location and availability, typically ranging from $86–$200, and will be added to your session total.
